Protecting the Upper Oconee Watershed through monitoring,
education, advocacy, and recreation
Science & Monitoring
The Science & Monitoring committee quantifies the health of our watershed by conducting quarterly sampling events. At these events, volunteers collect water and macro-invertebrate samples throughout Athens-Clarke and Oconee counties. The committee then analyzes the samples and publishes the data.
