UOWN members actively engage in various advocacy, education and stream monitoring initiatives in effort to raise community awareness about local water resource issues and to facilitate a cooperative spirit for long-term watershed protection.<\/p>\n<p>UOWN is a 501(c)3 organization, incorporated in the state of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>download our IRS <a href=\"http:\/\/uown.org\/UOWN-Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/UOWN_501c3letter2005.pdf\">determination letter<\/a><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"sow-headline\">Activities<\/h1>\n<h3 class=\"sow-sub-headline\">Monitoring, Education, and Advocacy<\/h3>\n<p>Located in Athens, Georgia, UOWN is a 75+ member organization goverend by a volunteer Board of Directors.
